Grinote is a native app. The shelf, the filters, and the agent panel run on your machine — not in a browser tab synced to someone else’s server.
- Works offline
No internet required to capture, search — including local OCR — or paste. Airplane mode, café Wi‑Fi, or a locked-down network — the notch keeps working.
- No cloud shelf
Clipboard history is stored in a local database on disk. We don’t upload clips, OCR text, color picks, or agent activity to sync them elsewhere.
- No account for the shelf
Using Grinote on your Mac doesn’t require signing in. An account is only for buying and downloading the app from the website.
- Sensitive filter
Passwords, tokens, and other secrets can be kept out of the shelf automatically — or deleted in one move when something slips through.
- Pause anytime
One click stops capture. Resume when you’re back in flow — nothing is recorded while you’re paused.
